Privacy Policy
DoctorXPlus and DoctorXPlus Desk ("we", "us") are clinic appointment and front-desk software, run by BusinessPlusOnline. This page explains what information we collect through that software and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Patient details — name and phone number, entered by clinic staff when booking an appointment, plus the appointment itself (doctor, date, time, and the fee recorded for it).
- Doctor/practitioner details — name, specialty, and, where a clinic uploads them, professional registration documents used to verify a practitioner before they can be listed.
- Staff and admin accounts — the name, email address and profile photo Google shares with us when clinic staff sign in with their Google account. We do not receive or store a Google password.
What we use it for
Solely to run the appointment book and front desk for the clinics using this software: booking, showing the day's schedule, billing what a visit cost, and letting a clinic manage its own doctors and staff.
Who can see it
Staff and admins of the specific clinic a booking belongs to, and platform administrators who operate the service. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. Automated SMS or WhatsApp appointment reminders are not active yet; when they are, this policy will say which provider is used before any message is sent.
Where it is stored
On a server located in India, reached only over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
How long we keep it
For as long as a clinic is actively using this software to manage its appointments, and afterwards only as long as needed to meet our record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete or correct your information at any time using the contact below, and we will do so unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your rights
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to the email address below.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change with it.
